Caste Certificate

Any Indian citizen who is permanent resident of the particular state can eligible to apply for the Caste Certificate and Income Certificate in the state. Caste Certificate is an essential document for the people who belongs to such backward community like Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC). Income Certificate is necessary for obtaining an OBC Caste Certificate as it issued on the basis of family’s annual income. Both the certificate will be issued by the District Magistrate/Tehsildar of the area. To apply for Income/Caste certificate, the applicant will have to visit the concerned Tehsildar on any working days and collect the prescribed application form.
